The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community invites you to experience their heritage of hospitality. Located just 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Salt River is neighbored by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Fountain Hills.
With two distinct backgrounds and cultures, the Community is comprised of two Native American tribes: the “Akimel O’Odham” (River People) and the “Xalychidom Piipaash” (People who live toward the water), also known as the Pima and Maricopa.
