The 12-20 inch protected slot limit for smallmouth bass on Turtle Lake (Itasca County) has changed to a 14-20 inch protected slot, with only one over 20 inches allowed. New special regulations. The possession limits for walleye on Green Lake (Kandiyohi County), Horseshoe and Minnewawa lakes (Aitkin County) have been reduced to three. 2019 Consumer Confidence Report Drinking Water
We work with the Minnesota Department of Health to test drinking water for more than 100 contaminants. It is not unusual to detect contaminants in small amounts. No water supply is ever completely free of contaminants. Drinking water standards protect Minnesotans from substances that maybe harmful to their health. Water and Sewer Utilities

Water payments can be made online or in person at City Hall. If after hours, payments may be placed in the drop box located next to the entrance door at City Hall and are due the 10th of each month. Any payments received after the 10th will be considered late and be assessed a 10% penalty.

Rental Registration
City ordinance requires all rental homes to be registered and inspected with the City every two years. Complete the requiredapplication and turn it in with all applicable fees to City Hall.

Animal Control
Visit the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department's Facebook page for pictures of found dogs. To claim your dog please call City Hall at 218-335-2238.

Fees: $15 each day and if you are in the City Limits you will be required to have your dog(s) registered with the City. Please call for additional information and fees.
